Abstract: This paper describes sixteen species of the genus Eoophyla Swinhoe that occur in China. Two species, E. abstrusa sp. nov. and E. evidens sp. nov. , are described as new to science. Three species, E. melanops (Hampson), E. nigripilosa Yoshiyasu and E. thaiensis Yoshiyasu, are reported for the first time from this country. A key to the Chinese species of the genus is given. Photographs of adults and illustrations of the genitalia of the new species are provided.
