Abstract: Astronomical visions such as solar eclipse are often regarded as symbols of disaster in ancient times, and there are two ways to eliminate disasters. One is that the monarch conducts self-reflection, and the other is to transfer the disaster to the courtiers. The Xuan Emperor killed Yang Yun, which is related to the concept of transferring eclipse disasters. Therefore, Yu Dingguo’s trial of Yang Yun’s case in accordance with the Spring and Autumn is largely a deliberate attempt to take the crime of causing solar eclipse by Yang Yun. In this context, some of the complaints in Fufu Song were regarded as the main evidence of the crime of resentment. In view of this, Yang Yun’s execution has its contingency and inevitability.
