Abstract: Objective To analyzed the relationship between Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Ratio( NLR) and Parkinson’s disease( PD) with peripheral neuropathy. Methods Electromyography was performed in 97 patients, among which 38 patients with Parkinsons disease with peripheral neuropathy were the case group; 59 patients with Parkinson’s disease without peripheral neuropathy were the control group. The blood routine of the two groups was performed, the neutrophil and lymphocyte counts were recorded, and the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio was calculated. The gender, age, duration of disease, and Hoehr-Yahr( HY) grading were recorded, and the factors were compared. The difference between the two groups were analyzed. Results The neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio in the case group was higher than thatin the control group( P < 0. 05).There was no significant difference in the sex, age,Parkinson’s disease courses between the case group and the control group( P > 0. 05). Conclusion The elevated neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio may be a risk factor for peripheralnerve damage in Parkinson’s disease.
