Abstract: After the reign of Xining and Yuanfeng(1068-1085) in the Song Dynasty,zhubo means that the ships shall return to the port designated by the court to accept the management?of the maritme trade bureau.So in the Southern Song Dynasty,the ships returned from the Southern China Sea which berthed in Hainan Island was not zhubo.It was no conflict with the maritme trading system.The song dynasty positioned the ports of hainan island as a port of berthing rather than trading.The genashuiqian was toll but not tariff.
