Abstract: Objective Explore the relation between mandible bone density and craniofacial morphology. Methods Using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry instrument measurements were performed on three groups of different type of samples, and the mandibular bone mineral density of the observed object for further analysis and research, and draw a conclusion. Results The bone mineral content of the mandible was corresponding to the bone mineral density in the symmetrical samples, but there were some differences between the three groups in this study. Conclusion There is a certain correlation between mandibular bone density and vertical craniofacial morphology, dual energy X-ray absorptiometry instrument function significantly.
