Abstract: To cope with the current status of domestic petrochemical industry, domestic engineering corporations actively explore overseas market. To accurately and effectively enhance the accuracy of bidding, this article mainly summarizes the methodology of cost estimation in bidding for overseas petrochemical EPC projects, focusing on service cost, material cost, construction cost, government license, risk reserve and other costs. Also, the author lists some suggestions on cost evaluation, intending to provide some management insights, and in the end comes to a conclusion that we should take all aspects into account, accumulate data and actively adjust our strategies during our work, which offers reference for bidding in overseas projects.
