Risk assessment by fuzzy mathematics of a coal chemical enterprise in Jimsar of XinJiang:based on risk matrix analysis method

Abstract: [Objective] To evaluate the occupational hazards risk level of a coal chemical enterprise in Jimsar of XinJiang.[Methods] The risk matrix analysis method was adopted to appraise risk level of chemical hazards in the enterprise,and the modified fuzzy analytic hierarchy progress was used to establish matrix and calculate weight,then synthetically evaluate the risk level of chemical hazard factors,physical harmful factors and dust by fuzzy mathematics.[Results] The risk levels of chemical hazard factors were ammonia(3.14),nitrogen dioxide (2.93),sulfur dioxide (2.64),hydrogen sulfide (2.62),and carbon monoxide (2.62).In terms of membership matrix,the chemical hazard factors were mostly negligible risk level,the noise mainly belonged to medium risk level by 33.3% and the dust mainly belonged to high risk level by 41.7%.By the comprehensive evaluation,the risk level of chemical hazard factors,dust and noise belonged to grade Ⅰ (42.0%),which was the negligible risk.[Conclusion] The occupational risk level of this coal chemical enterprise is low,which belongs to negligible risk level.It is beneficial to get objective and scientific results by applying the risk matrix analysis,the modified fuzzy analytic hierarchy progress and comprehensive assessment based on fuzzy mathematics to evaluate the risk level of occupational harm in enterprises.
