Monitoring results of chest X-ray among dust-exposed workers in Yantai in 2015

Abstract: [Objective] To analyze the inspection results of chest X-ray among dust-exposed workers in Yantai,and explore the key monitoring population of pneumoconiosis.[Methods] The inspection results of 3 339 dust-exposing workers accepted high-Kv chest radiographs or DR were analyzed,and the distribution of workers with pneumoconiosis change in chest X-ray or other abnormity according working years,enterprise scale,industry sector,type of dust and gender was explored.[Results] Among 3 339 dustexposing workers,the workers worked in other industry sector,exposed to other dust and female had lower proportion of abnormal chest radiographs or other abnormity (P<0.05).[Conclusion] In future pneumoconiosis prevention and control work,male workers who work in large-scale mining or manufacturing enterprises,have 20 or more working years and exposed to silica,coal or asbestos dusts should be focus as key population for occupational health monitoring.
