Determination of trace amounts of cadmium in crucians by intelligent sample processor with microwave digestion-graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry

Abstract: [Objective] To establish a new method for determining the levels of trace cadmium in crucians by intelligent sample processor with microwave digestion-graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.[Methods]The samples were digested by intelligent sample processor and microwave digestion.An optimal one was selected from the two digestion reagents with appropriate dosage.Zeeman GFAAS was adjusted to the best state for the direct determination of trace cadmium.[Results] The cadmium con-tent was linear in the range of 0-3 ng/ml and the correlation coefficient of 0.998 0.The detection limit of the method was 0.000 35 mg/kg,RSD was among 2.72%-4.88%.The standard addition recovery was 94.0%-98.7%.[Conclusion] This method can get the low blank result,which is sensitive,simple,accurate and precise for determining the cadmium in large crucian in amount of sam-ples.
