Abstract: Objective To present the information of cephalosporin antibiotics that impaired the clinical laboratory tests.Methods The labels of cephalosporin antibiotics were collected from DailyMed,the official website for FDA-approved drug labels,and reviewed manually for their information related to the drugs that impaired laboratory tests.Results The information of drug affecting clinical laboratory tests were presented in 19 cephalosporin antibiotics labels,including cefalexin and cefazolin,et al.Conclusion The FDA drug labels offer a comprehensive information about the drug that interfered with the laboratory tests.For the government regulatory agency and the drugs manufactures in China,the standardization of the drug labels are necessary to provide more useful information to the patients and medical professionals.
