Abstract: Zhenjiang was the city of Eight-banner garrison in the Qing Dynasty.In the eyes of the people of Zhen-jiang,Eight-banner people were a symbol of the court.With the decline of the Qing Dynasty and Banner-people’s status,Zhenjiang Banner-people’s life style changed.Zhenjiang Eight-banner people exploited political superiority and take advantage of legal prerogatives.They profited from destructive activity.The negative image of the Eight-banner people of Zhenjiang deepened people’s aversion to the Qing Dynasty,therefore accelerating the collapse of local government.
