Study on optimized operation of Cuijiaying navigation-power junction

Abstract: Reservoir scheduling is a complicated multi?objective optimization problem. Taking the maximum of power generation and reliability requirement or the minimum output of power plant as a single objective, the previ?ous studies were confined to power optimization, which can not satisfy the requirements of water supply, flood con?trol and shipping scheduling. According to the complex operation mode of Cuijiaying navigation?power junction ,two models were established in 2012 typical dry season. The models were solved by using dynamic programming algo?rithm, and the optimal solutions of the models were produced. A complete scheduling criterion was proposed for the first time. It has a significant meaning for actual operation of Cuijiaying navigation?power junction.
