Abstract: Highway guardrail is motor vehicle driver life support facilities,but because the pavement maintenance to improve pavement elevation,the height of the fence can not satisfy the safety requirements,in order to improve highway safety,through the actual investigation,combined with the project of traffic engineering、capacity theory analysis under loaddeformation and the stress of the guardrail post through the parallel test method,the design parameters of guardrail posts a heightening segment was determined,and the actual verified the rationality,the reconstruction of facilities bring to expressway maintenance of a new train of thought.
