Abstract: Jasmonate signaling pathway plays an important role in the regulation of plant development and stress response. At the presence of Jasmonate, its biological active derivative JA-Ile (jasmonoyl-isoleucine) is perceived by the receptor complex SCFCOI1, which leads to the degradation negative regulator JAZ protein via 26S proteasome and then releases the transcriptional activator MYC2 to activate the expression of downstream genes and to activate physiological responses. This article will summarize the research progresses on the genes of the key Jasmonate pathway regulators COI1, JAZ and MYC2 in tobacco.
