Abstract: In the process of absorbing the other six states, Qin had been gradually unifying the system of weights and measures instead of doing so after conquering them. The 8-109+8-386 slip of the Qin Bamboo Slips of Liye is an important indicator of the system of weights and measures, but is also the important historical relics for the study of the development of weights and measures in ancient China. The slips relfect the fact that the new system of weights and measures began to be implemented in all the newly occupied territory. The 8-109+8-386 slip of the Qin Bamboo Slips of Liye gives us more important new information for our comprehensive understanding of the Qin’s uniifed the system of weights and measures, and relfects how the local institutions of Qin carried out the system of weights and measures-the government issued the standards and the counties adopted them.
