Abstract: The pit mud from Shilixiang (Hebei Cangzhou), King spring (Shandong JingZhi town), Luzhou laojiao(Sichuan Luzhou) and Longjiang home(Heilongjiang Shuangcheng) were the research objects. The di-versity of bacteria and lactic acid bacteria were analyzed using the denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) and gene sequencing technology. Among the four samples in pit mud, the bacterial diversity of King spring was the lowest, which of Longjiang home was the highest;the diversity lactic acid bacteria of Shilixiang was the lowest, which of Luzhou laojiao was the highest. The Firmicutes was the main phylum in bacteria, the Lactobacillus was the dominant genus in lactic acid bacteria. There were some difference in the composition of bacteria and lactic acid bacteria in pit mud from different producing regions. These results demonstrated that there was a connection between bacterial diversity of pit mud and their producing regions.
