Abstract: Objective:To study the curative effect and prognosis of laparoscopic pelvic abscess removal combined with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:Sixty-eight cases of patients with pelvic abscess were selected from January 2013 to December 2015 in our hospital. The control group was treated with open surgery and the observation group with laparoscopic pelvic abscess removal combined with traditional Chinese medicine. The operation time, bleeding, symptom improvement time, hospital stay and wound unhealing of the two groups were observed and the treatment effect was observed.Result:In the observation group, the operation time was(54.17 ± 10.18) min,the amount of bleeding during operation was(20.38 ± 6.95)m L,the symptom improvement time was(4.35 ± 1.12)d,the length of stay was(3.96 ± 0.84) d and the wound unhealing was 0.00%(0/34),which were respectively less than the control group’s(97.33 ± 15.34) min,(56.73 ± 11.83)m L,(7.27 ± 2.32)d,(9.41 ± 1.96)d and 14.70%(5/34).The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The total complication rate of the observation group was 8.82%(3/34),which was less than the control group’s 41.17%(14/34).The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.11%(32/34),better than the control group’s 76.47%(26/34).The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic pelvic abscess removal combined with traditional Chinese medicine has obvious curative effect and can improve the curative effect and reduce the incidence of complications. It is conducive to the prognosis of patients and worthy of promoting.
