Henan Hui Nationality Immigrants in History

Abstract: Henan province is located in the central plains of China,where Hui Nationality has a long history of development. We can say that the history of Henan Hui Nationality people’s development is also a history of Henan Hui people’s immigration. The immigration patterns were varied,mainly embodied as military immigrants,governmental immigrants,refugee immigrants and business immigrants etc. There were also a variety of intertwined forms of immigration. Henan hui immigrants were characterized by diversification of reasons,early time,high frequency,wide distribution and complexity of ways and routes. Henan Hui migrants not only contributed to the development of Henan Hui people’s economy,culture and education,but also strengthened the fusion between Islam and other religions.
