Abstract: Drum shearer is a complicated mechanical system,its running state is extremely complex.And the working conditions of drum shearer has dust,big vibration and strong resistance.So it is particularly important to develop high reliability drum shearers.In the project of developing MG750/1915-GWD drum shearer,in order to improve the reliability of drum shearer’s key parts,we chose the new material,combined with computer simulation technology to improve design,improved the manufacturing process,strengthened the test,and developed the shearer ranging arm shell with high reliability,the strong pin rail traction system and large diameter ultra-high strength wear-resisting spiral drum.And the key parts in the industrial test run smoothly,the performance is reliable.
