Abstract: In this paper, the method of moments of the classical algorithm in electromagnetism was given, and its advantages and disadvantages were described. From the scattering field RCS and surface current of the cylinder, the result of MoM was in good agreement with the analytical solution. In addition, although the calculation precision of the Mo M was very high, if it was involved in inverse matrix calculation, and for calculating electrically large objects, the Mo M consumed a large amount of memory, which was also its shortcomings.
