Abstract: The most commonly used is acetylene cutting gas, due to the presence of high energy consumption, pollution, explosive and other shortcomings. People trying to find a new alternative to replace acetylene. While natural gas has a high safety, pollution of small, low cost and other advantages to become a new type of cutting gas. The paper mainly introduces the ang for several key technology of gas cutting, and of ang and acetylene, CNG were comparison and economic analysis, compared with the same scale of acetylene station, the annual cost reduced about 70 %, compared to the same pressure of the CNG cylinders per year filling times reduced about 45 %. ANG cylinder for cutting gas with good prospects for development.
