Of sevofl urane and ketamine for pediatric anesthesia induction clinical comparison of cleft lip and palate

Abstract: Objective Compared with ketamine and the clinical effect of sevofl urane in children with cleft lip and palate surgery. Methods Selection in February 2013 to June 2014 to our hospital for 40 cases of children with cleft lip and palate surgery, randomly divided into group 1 and 2 to 40 cases underwent group, 20 cases, 1 set in children with cleft lip and palate surgery using ketamine anesthesia induction, two groups are in children with cleft lip and palate surgery with sevofl urane anesthesia induction. Results Choking cough occurs in the 2 groups were higher than 1 group, 2 group of respiratory secretions increase occurs less than 1 set, 1 to 2 groups are not symptoms of laryngospasm, 1 group compared with 2 later extubation time, and one set of respiratory secretions excess 2 groups, 1 group, the incidence of nausea and vomiting complications is higher than 2 groups. Conclusion Use of sevoflurane anesthesia induction application without cleft lip and palate surgery, quick effect, maintain smooth, postoperative complete awakening time is fast, is of great signifi cance for clinical application.
