The relationship between the four hand operation and cross infection control

Abstract: Objective To investigate the root canal therapy in the nursing operation four hand coordination for cross infection control effect.Methods In our hospital in January 2012 to 2013 year in May were randomly divided into 72 cases of maxillary first molarroot canal therapy into two groups,namely the control group and the study group,36 cases each,research group was given four hand operation,the control group was given conventional nursing,disinfection and sterilization device respectively on the surface and the doctor’s hands infection monitoring.Results The monitoring of disinfection and sterilization device surface,study on the combination of a pass rate of 86.1%,control group,a pass rate of 52.8%;to detect the doctor’s hand,study on the combination of a pass rate of 83.3%,control group,a pass rate of 47.2%;the study group was significantly better than the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Four hand operation nursing can effectively control the occurrence of cross infection in dental treatmentprocess.
