Abstract: Electric traction shearer is the key equipment in modern underground coal mining,and traction chain wheel is the key component in the coal winning machine,its life and strength is important for the safe and reliable operation of the coal winning machine.In this article,by analyzing the shearer sprocket failure reasons,we put forward corresponding countermeasures,optimized the tooth profile of sprocket to get optimal engagement state,reselected 18Cr2Ni4 Was the sprocket material and optimized heat treatment process to improve the mechanical strength of chain wheels.
