Abstract: Portal cranes are widely used in lifting,transportation,loading and unloading of materials and so on,which can greatly raise the labour productivity.The gantry is bearing the rotating platform and all above the platform,the stability of the gantry decides the stability of the crane.This article carried out the stress test to different gantry structures of portal cranes,analyzed the force on the gantry structure,and got the stress distribution of gantry.
