Abstract: OBJECTIVE To explore the influence of cervical cancer tissue high-risk human papillomavirus(hrHPV)infection on expression of cysteine aspartate protease-1(Caspase-1)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)so as to provide guidance for diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer.METHODS A total of 80 cervical cancer tissue specimens and 80 adjacent noncancerous cervical tissue specimens were obtained from 80 patients with cervical cancer who received surgical procedures in the hospital from Jan 2010 to Dec 2015,then the hrHPV was detected in the cervical cancer tissues by using PCR reverse hybridization, and the Caspase-1and IL-1βwere detected in the cervical cancer tissues and adjacent noncancerous cervical tissues with the use of immunohistochemical SP method.RESULTS Totally 64 patients with cervical cancer tissues had the hrHPV infection, with the infection rate 80.00%,including51(79.69%)cases of single infection and 13(20.31)cases of multiple infections. The positive rates of expression of Caspase-1and IL-1βwere respectively 61.25% and 55.00%in the cervical cancer tissues, significantly higher than those in the adjacent noncancerous cervical tissues, and there was significant difference(P<0.05).The positive rates of expression of Caspase-1and IL-1βof the patients without hsHPV infection were respectively 87.50%and 81.25%,significantly higher than those of the patients with hsHPV infection, and there was significant difference(P<0.05).The positive rates of expression of Caspase-1and IL-1βwere respectively 76.47% and 70.59%in the patients with single infection and were respectively 76.92% and 61.54%in the patients with multiple infection, there was no significant difference.CONCLUSION The high in the cervical cancer tissue;the HPV16 and HPV18are dominant. The hrHPV infection can inhibit the expression of Caspase-1and IL-1βin the local tissues, which may be one of the mechanisms that the hrHPV infection leads to the cervical cancer.
