Tongxinluo Capsule in the Treatment of Heart Failure:a Meta analysis

Abstract: Objective To systematical y evaluate the efficacy of Tongxinluo capsule in the treatment of heart failure(HF)patients.Meth-ods We retrieved CNKI,WanFang,PubMed,the Cochrane Library of clinical control trial databases by computer.According to the in-tegration and elimination standard of the literature,we close the randomized control ed trials (RCTs)of Tongxinluo capsule on HF. Two reviewers finished the quality assessment independently,extracted the data and cross checkded.Final y,we used the RevMan 5.3 software for the Meta analysis.Results A total of 27 studies included 2 222 cases of patients,and al of them were ca RRied in Chi-na.Jadad score of 27 studies were 1.The meta analysis results showed that the Tongxinluo capsule group had a significantly higher of efficacy than the control group in terms of the clinical efficacy [OR=3.44,95% CI (2.55,4.64),P<0.000 01],reduced LVESD [WMD=-2.66,95% CI(-3.16,-2.16),P<0.00001],increasedleftventricularejectionfraction[WMD=5.99,95% CI(5.91, 6.08),P<0.000 01],reduced LVEDD [WMD=-3.00,95% CI (-3.74,-2.27),P<0.000 01],increased CO [WMD=0.93,95%CI (0.86,1.01),P<0.000 01].Conclusion Tongxinluo capsule can significantly improve the clinical effcacy,which needs to be fur-ther confirmed by more large sample,high quality RCTs.
