Economy and Processing Method of South Pars Condensate Oil in Iran

Abstract: The method for evaluating condensate oil of South Pars in Iran was introduced.It was concluded that the price equilibrium point of condensate oil is Dubai crude oil benchmark price minus 0.38 USD/barrel;and when the condensate oil price is more than 0.38 USD/barrel lower than Dubai crude oil benchmark price,the refineries processing it can get better results.As the current price of condensate oil is 2.5 to 3.5 USD/barrel lower than Dubai price,it has good economy.In addition,three methods for processing condensate oil were introduced,including blending processing with the surplus capacity of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit,with newly built condensate oil processing unit,and with the transformed idle and vacuum distillation unit.
