Keyword:  acetic acidiodineinductively coupled plasma mass spectrometr y;
Abstract: A method for determination of trace iodine in acetic acid by direct injection standard addition method with organic sampling analysis system specially for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)was introduced.Experimental results showed that the detection limit of this method was 0.17 μg/L and the relative standard deviation was less than 1.5%,recovery rate of 90% to 105%.The method is convenient and accurate,and can be used in the inspection and acceptance of acetic acid raw materials,and also can meet the control and detection requirements of production plants.
