Abstract: Huaiyi, a nation living in the middle and lower reaches of Huaihe River during the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasty, was on visiting terms with the three Dynasties of Xia, Shang and Zhou. It was one of the archenemies of the West Zhou Dynasty. The national fusion of Huaiyi and Huaxia should be attributed to military and trade inter-course as well as Huaiyi’s cultural trait.
