Abstract: Objective To search for an effective drug carrier to penetrate the round window membrane,the porous gelatin microsphere combined the thermo-sensitive chitosan/ β-GP gelatin was prepared.Methods CaCO3 template was synthesized chemically,and gelatin CaCO3 microsphere was prepared by W/0 emulsive solidified method.Then CaCO3was removed by EDTA,and porous gelatin microsphere was prepared.Scanning electron microscope was utilized for microsphere characterization.Thermo-sensitive drug carrier of chitosan porous gelatin microsphere was obtained by physical mixation of chitosan and β-GP.Results The chitosan/β-GP solution was injectable,the diameters of chitosan/ β-GP gelatin microspheres were about 2 4μm with porous network after freezing and thermo sensitivity.Conclusion Thermo-sensitive drug carrier of chitosan/β-GP gelatin microspheres would be useful for transmembrane drug delivery.
