Abstract: 752 local college students were assessed according to "Normal College Students’ Professional Self-Identity Scale", "Learning Motivation Questionnaire" and "Scale of Occupation Ability Maturity". The results are as follows.(1) College students’ professional self-identity gradually drops year by year as their grades increase; the number of college students with low professional value and low professional effectiveness relatively great; in particular, college students’ low occupational value sense is a serious problem.(2) The local college students’ occupational self-identity will significantly affect their learning motivation as well as their occupational ability maturity, and will hinder the reform in the training mode of normal college education.
