Abstract: The inevitable mistuning in aeroengine bladed disks can lead to considerable increase in vibratory ampli-tude and stress, and thus deteriorate the structural integrity and reliability. Therefore, the dynamic characteristics of mis-tuned bladed disks have been drawn great attention in both academic and engineering ifelds around the world. This paper presents a review of the modeling and analysis methods for mistuned bladed disks, with particular emphasis on the geomet-ric mistuning of integrally bladed rotors and multistage bladed disks. The recent researches on mathematical representation and reduced-order modeling of geometric mistuning are introduced. Important developments and future research directions in this area are highlighted.
