Abstract: Several factors about reforming on practical teaching based upon cultivating application-oriented personnel in City College of Dongguan University of Technology are discussed in this paper, taking an example of geography and natural resources and environment. These factors include mode of personnel training, reforming on classroom teaching, practice base construction, practical outcomes assessment, and teacher’s practice team building.
