Abstract: Accompany with the further propulsion of China Western Development,a lot of constructions will locate at the range of the Tibetan engineering corridor which only has a width less than 10 km. The interactions of these constructions will affect the thermal stability of constructed frozen soil roadbeds significantly. A lot of researches works have done to study the thermal stability of the frozen roadbed,but there almost no paper was given a summarization of these achievements. Based on this situation,the present status of the thermal stability researches of frozen soil roadbed,including the design thoughts,evaluation criterion,research method and conclusions and reinforce measures,is analyzed in this paper. And,the future study direction and issues are forecasted. This work is expected to provide a comparatively overall literature basis for the relative researchers and engineers.
