Study on the Stability of Tunnel Caused by Different Methods of Excavation

Abstract: 〔Abstract〕 There is a big difference of stability of surrounding rock by different construction method. In the engineering background of a station in Beijing by shallow tunnel, with the convergence and subsidence of tunnel and surface subsidence as control index, the analysis of effect of the three excavation ways (three steps, CRD, glass method) is conducted, and the results show that the CRD method has good effect on the control of stability of the tunnel, the distance of excavation influence and tunnel subsidence caused by ex-cavation and the surface subsidence are smaller. The three step method on the stability of tunnel control is relatively poor, although the CRD method process is complex and cost is relatively high, but it can better maintain the stability of surrounding rock, and reduce the ground subsidence.
