Abstract: It is proposed by the Fifth Plenary Session of the18 th CCP Congress that a number of national laboratories should be set up in major innovation fields.National Laboratory is the world’s major power to seize the commanding heights of scientific and technological strategic carrier. By the meantime, the US Department of Energy National Laboratory is the world’s largest and most comprehensive research institution in the high energy physics and nuclear physics areas, which stands for the global highest level.The Experiences and Inspirations of the DOE’s National Laboratory Foundation is worthy for learning in the development of China’s nuclear industry.
