Abstract: During the investigation of the fourth national Chinese medicine census in Nanchuan,Chongqing,based on the collec-tion of folk single prescription,proved recipe,we make a thorough investigation into eight major specific medicine on plant origin i-dentification,habitats distribution,collection processing,function and use.We collect the classical single prescription and proved recipe.On base of consulting relevant data,we also make a corresponding arrangement,such as the plants’taste function,the chem-ical composition,pharmacological action,antibacterial experiment and so on.
