Abstract: Chuang Tzu’s"materialization"theory is an important concept of his ideological system. In the essence,it refers to a kind of thoughtful state that main body and object, everything are one-uniformity.In our eyes,"materialization"is an aesthetic theory that treats the relationship between man and nature, the human body themselves. However,in Lacan’s philosophy thought,"mirror"theory is a key link in his early thoughts which mainly describes the process of human mistaking themselves and gradually losing their true essence through the"mirror",then encroached by others. The process actually refers the relationship between man and others or objects. In other words, the two theories all focus on the level of the relationship between me and others. This paper is based on the relationship, comparing the differences between the two theories to grasp them more deeply.
