Assessment method of seismic economic loss in substation based on loss statistics

Abstract: Substation installs a variety of indoor and outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment and building,whose seismic capacity are very different,therefore it is not easy to estimate the economic losses rapidly after the earthquake. In this paper,the substation equipment and facilities are divided into 3 categories of outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment,indoor high-voltage electrical equipment and house building. Based on survey data of economic losses and assets of the substation in Wenchuan earthquake,the loss ratio of these three kinds of facilities under different earthquake intensity was counted. And the proportional relation of three kinds of asset for 350 k V,110 k V and220 k V substation was counted too. According to the statistics,a seismic economic-loss assessment method of substation was given for( 1) having all kinds of substations asset information,( 2) only having total assets information of substation,( 3) having no information at all. Trial calculation results show that the assessment method is fast and simple,and has stronger operability. This method may provide reference for loss estimation,earthquake emergency response and restoration of substation after earthquake.
