Abstract: The deep ocean large-power multi-function salvage vessel is an independently designed unit for rescuing lives,ships and properties and etc. The general performance was well researched and analyzed in this paper. Through comparison and analysis of similar types of outstanding domestic and foreign vessels,the principal dimensions were determined and the general arrangement was optimized. Based on hull line optimization and hydrodynamic theory analysis together with model test,hull line reaching performance target was obtained,making an excellent vessel with good sea keeping performance.
