Abstract: In contemporary Marxist group in the US, Forster as the representative of ecological Marxism and Clayton as the representative of organic Marxism both regard their theories as attempting to settle the ecological crisis which human is facing nowadays. But their academic approaches are different, which are manifested in the analysis of crisis source, the origin of philosophical foundation and the solution of solving the crisis. The thesis will make a comparison of their difference in order to provide enlightenment for the development of Marxism theory and the construction of Chinese ecological civilization.
