Abstract: This paper introduces an aeroelastic optimization method based on the improved Particle Sw arm Optimization( PSO) algorithm w hich is now a common and w ell-developed optimization algorithm. A high-aspect-ratio w ing is used as an optimization sample. The Kriging method is used to build an agent model of the w ing,then the PSO method and improved PSO method are used to take optimization process. Finally the comparison of results by PSO and other methods is given. As an aeroelastic optimization method the combination of the agent model and the improved PSO algorithm could provide a relatively favorable result w ith short compute time.
