Abstract: Based on the "Operation Manual of U. S. Navy Carrier Aircraft Launching and Recovery",this paper designs the general flow of carrier aircraft landing and further divides it into four phases:preparation for recovery, approach, approach landing, and landing. For each phase, four kinds of security grade multi-route designs are proposed in accordance w ith reliability, coordination complexity among deck crew, equipment and signal as w ell as changefulness of combat mission. M ulti-route dynamic programming method has been applied in each phase’s route optimization. Results can be used as practical guidance and theoretical reference for Chinese navy multi-mode carrier aircraft landing process.
