Abstract: Analyzing the ARCS motivation design model theory and its application in English teaching of secondary vocational education show that, the ARCS motivation design model is well suitable for English teaching of secondary vocational education. In the teaching process, teachers should comply with four phases: analyzing students, proposing the objectives of learning motivation, designing teaching activities relative to material objectives of motivation, and carrying out evaluation.
