Abstract: Using the method of data collection, interview and questionnaire, the paper makes a preliminary investigation into 97 elementary education majors in Xinjiang Normal University from the value of the professional identity, the efficiency of professional identity, the attitude of the professional curriculum, the identity of teacher and employment identification. The results show: elementary education undergraduate’ s value of the professional identity is not high, and the efficiency of professional identity needs to be improved; the professional development prospects need to be ascended; minority students' professional identity is significantly higher than han students.
