Abstract: 本文回顾了历史上三种主要的制造模式,概述了定制的基本内涵、从适应性产品过渡到大规模定制的内在原因以及大规模定制与客户消费需求变化和市场竞争的关系,探讨了大规模定制模式产生的深层次需求因素,提出了"品种"这一概念下蕴涵着产品功能消费需求因素;指出大规模定制的需求基础是产品的客户功能个性化.最后,本文肯定了大规模定制的历史必然性,并指出,功能已成为制造业产品竞争力的关键要素,这一结论具有超越大规模定制模式的普遍现实意义.
