Patients in treatment group were treated with combination of cold spray of TCM and red-blue light, and patients in control group were treated with red-blue light, both of the treatments were lasted for 2 weeks. Skin lesion, scores of erythema, scale, and pruritus, and untoward effects of patients before and after treatment were observed and compared. Results: The total curative effect of treatment group(73.3%) was superior to that of control group(46.7%), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01). After treatment, the observational indexes of patients in treatment group were superior to those of control group except skin lesion(P<0.05). The untoward effects of treatment group was lower than that of control group(P<0.01). Conclusion: Combination of cold spray of TCM and red-blue light is safe and effective in treating facial seborrheic dermatitis, and the curative effect is better than red-blue light alone.
