Analysis on the Effects of the ’Two Endoscopy Methods’ in Minimally Invasive Gall Stone Surgery by Electrohydraulic Lithotripsy Device

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effects of the’two endoscopy methods’ in minimally invasive gall stone surgery by electrohydraulic lithotripsy device. Methods: The clinical data for 57 cases in 2014 hospitalized patients and the gallstone’s diameter greater than 20 mm were retrospectively analyzed. Compared the postoperative results of 32 cases patients who received gallbladder surgery by electrohydraulic lithotripsy and 25 cases patients who received conventional surgery. Moreover,the postoperative residual stone and the postoperative stone recurrence rate of the two kinds of operation method was compared as well. Results: The excellence rate was reached to 96. 9% by Electrohydraulic lithotripsy surgery in patients with gallbladder and the postoperative recurrence rate was less than3. 1%; while the excellence rate was 88. 0% by routine operation method and the postoperative recurrence rate was reached to 12. 0% in this kind of method. The two indexes in both groups were shown statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05). Conclusions: Electrohydraulic lithotripsy minimal invasive gall stone surgery is included in ’two endoscopy methods’ for the treatment of gallstones and it is better than the simple’two endoscopy methods’. The electrohydraulic lithotripsy method is more invasive,safe,reliable and has good efficacy. The stone recurrence rate is lower by as well by electrohydraulic lithotripsy method. The electrohydraulic lithotripsy can crush the large stones and then it can be taken out thoroughly. So it can avoid injury in gallbladder surgery because of big size of stone taking a larger incision or gallbladder wall excessive pulling by force during the operation. The electrohydraulic lithotripsy can also protect the mucosa of gallbladder and maintain the gallbladder function. So it worthy for promoting in clinical practice.
