Abstract: The stability of the goaf of a underground mine is analyzed by adopting ANSYS numerical simulation software. The goaf with the characteristics of difference section height and large expose area is taken as the study example to establish numerical model,the model boundary conditions and physical parameters. The simulation results show that under the action of gravity stress,after the excavation of the orebody,the goaf is maintained a relatively stable state,the overlapping parts of the goafs of different section on the spatial location is easy to cause the stress concentration phenomenon,therefore,the safe hidden trouble is existed.
